The woman in this book tries desperately to make her nightmares and visions stop so that she can live a normal life, whatever that is. She fears for her sanity and her life, only wanting these nightmares to end. She hopes by telling the stories of all the things she sees and lives through while meditating and dreaming, that things will change and she can move on with her life.
The question is, will she live long enough to be able to accomplish what she set out to do?
Jaded Nightmares is a novel made up of short stories that tie into each other in a small way.

Excerpt: As I walk through the jaded glass of my past it reminds me of all of the cuts I have endured and how much pain the past has caused me. I try to forget I try to move on. I say the past is the past Live. Learn. Move on, but the past is haunting my dreams and tearing at my soul. How do you stop the hounds of hell in your dreams??? Make it stop, make them go away. I need to sleep to heal and not feel this pain. I want to run and hide, no more pain I beg the night I want to feel pleasure not pain. The voice in my dreams whispered there is always pain in pleasure and pleasure in pain.

Amazon and Goodreads reviews

5 out of 5 stars ~Deep Cpncept

When I began this book I wasn't quite sure how I felt. I think it evoked so many emotions, ranging from turmoil fear anger then hope, despair but ultimately determination. The concept of battling the mind is not new and Sarah Lazowski created a world where disjointed, fragmented images molded together to create a dream state that you pray you never enter in and if you do that you somehow find your way out. I enjoyed the ride! ~Whitni43

Picked up this book and it only took me literally a short time to be lost in it. I could not put it down until I was finished. A definite page turner. ~Corrie

This book was a gift from Sarah herself.. From this second I picked it up to the second I put it down I couldn't get enough of it. Was totally submerged in her writing a must read page turning book... ~Lishious Sin

3 out of 5 stars

I was given this in exchange for a honest review! This is a story about a girl who has these nightmares well honestly sometimes they even happen during the day. But she is trying to figure out how to stop or figure out what they mean. So she goes to a Shaman to go on a Spiritual journey to try and figure them out! This was a different book than any I've read. The reason I rated it 3 stars is because I think that there was so much going on that u lost some of the story. It was for me hard to keep up with everything going on. I liked where the book was going. She was detailed in her writing! Which is great! There is abusive situations just to forewarn! ~Auburn

2 out of 5 stars ~did not finish

I marked this book as a did not finish. I gave it the old college try. Likely I will go back to it at a later date. I found the flow and sentence structure of this book very hard to follow along with. ~Mandi
